Position Specific Description

Sighten is seeking a well-qualified candidate who is passionate about driving the clean energy revolution by building a best-in-class residential financing program.  As an Installer Technical Manager at Sighten, you will be asked to:

  • Establish processes to vet solar installers and oversee ongoing spot-checks
  • Set standards for individual solar system approval
  • Develop and manage equipment distribution programs

Job Overview

This position will be responsible for developing and managing installer and solar system approval processes.  This role will require gaining a deep understanding of the residential solar financing industry and applying this knowledge to the intricacies of solar system installation.

Job Duties

  • Establish processes to vet solar installers 
  • Oversee ongoing spot-checks of solar systems and verification of installers credibility
  • Set standards for individual solar system approval and ensure funding obligations are met
  • Develop and manage equipment distribution programs for Safe Harbor programs
  • Manage relationships across teams to ensure standardization of system expectations across the division

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s of Engineering degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of engineering and systems management experience
  • The skills to develop, implement and manage scalable processes
  • A positive attitude and are passionate about operations
  • The ability to work independently, as well as work in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment
